(ESOP) A week in the life of a Computer System Analyst (Senior): * Collectinformation to analyze and evaluate. * Performlogical and physical system design, and review /preparesystem documents and specifications. * Conducttechnical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with system. * Overseeinstallation and configuration of new systems * Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. * Ensure project procedures and controls are followed, manage manning and staffing efforts, and lead problem resolution efforts. * Preparereports, studies, and documentation. Deliverpresentations and participates in customer tag-ups, working groups and various milestone events. * Conduct fact finding and analysis to determine user problems and solve them * Preparedetailed designs and specifications * Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer systems capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. US Citizenship required. * Bachelor's degree in a Technical Discipline. * At least ten (10) years of experience with client-server systems in systems analysis, software design, software development and database administration. * Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and independent verification and validation techniques * Demonstrated knowledge of system acquisition practices required to design, develop, integrate, test and manufacture a major system.
