At Stevens Trucking, our drivers are viewed as family and treated as such. We are currently hiring CDL A Local Dry Van Drivers in Columbus, OH to join our team and haul dry-van freight between our yard in Columbus, OH and customers in the greater Columbus area.

Compensation:

  • Average weekly pay: $1,040 - $1,430
    • $26.00 per hour with an average of 40-50 hours per week
    • Overtime pay: after 40 hours worked
  • Bonuses:
    • Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonus: $500
    • Driver Referral Bonus: $3,000
    • Quarterly Fuel Bonus: up to 4 CPM
    • Clean Inspection Bonus: $50
  • Paid weekly via direct deposit

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

  • Home Time: Home every night
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday work
  • Shift: Day shift with start times that may vary and end times between 3-5pm
  • Route: In and around the greater Columbus, OH area

Equipment:

  • Late Model Freightliner Cascadias (job is local but is a sleeper cab)
  • No Slip Seating
  • Level of Touch: All no touch freight; bumping docks

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 23 years of age  
  • Must have CDL A license 
  • Minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
  • No DUI/DWIs or reckless driving charges in last 3 years 
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen and a new DOT physical
  • Hiring Radius: Driver should live within 40 miles of Columbus
