Certified Medical Technician - Full-time

The Certified Medication Tech (CMT) administers prescribed medications to patients and maintains related medical records under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The CMT functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to CD patients.
Day and Evening Shifts

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:High School Diploma or equivalent; and certified as a Medication Tech.
Experience:Previous related experience, with knowledge of recovery process and 12-step program preferred.
Certification:Must be licensed as a Certified Medication Technician in the State of Missouri.

SKILLS:

• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures, sterile technique, medical terminology.
• Basic computer knowledge

Additional Requirements:Successful completion of CPR certification and successful completion of Handle with Care training (HWC) provided during new employee orientation and prior to assisting with restraining procedures. May be required to work overtime.
