  • Supervise crew and ensure safety and productivity on installation of various glazing systems including: curtain wall, storefront, doors and assemblies, etc.
  • Manage the direction and timely completion of jobs while adhering to specifications, budget and material requirements.
  • Conduct safety meetings and workplace assessments/inspections
  • Identify quantity and scope changes to the contract and communicate to Supervisor
  • Monitor equipment utilization and maintenance
  • Serve as a main contact for field personnel and Project Managers
  • What We Are Seeking

  • 5-7+ years of commercial glass and glazing experience with 2+ years experience leading a crew preferred
  • Ability to safely work at heights
  • Ability to instruct and lead all glaziers on the crew 
  • Can perform physical activities on a regular basis
  • Analyze information and evaluate problems
  • Strong and effective communication with all members of project team
  • Safely operate mechanical devices and equipment
  • Knowledge of glazing terms
  • Knowledge of glass layouts and systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, detail drawing and must be able to create your own fabrication sketch
  • Experience working with MSDS sheets
  • Must understand the importance of OSHA safety protocols, material data sheets, daily reports, site plans, specs, RFI, ASI, ECT
  • Assist in drilling, cutting, and hardware installation for glass panels and frames
