Manpower is currently assisting a top employer recruit for FORKLIFT DRIVER II in Columbus, OH

• $600 bonus after 30 days additional $600 bonus after 90 days.

As a Forklift Driver II you will do the following:

• Maneuvering forklifts safely in busy industrial environments
• Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
• Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
• Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
• Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
• Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
• Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport
• Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures
• Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods

WORK LOCATION: 350 N 5th St Columbus, OH 43215

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Manufacturing experience preferred
• With an HS diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Willing to work overtime and on weekends if needed.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Operates gasoline, diesel, electric or propane-powered industrial truck equipped
• And with lifting devices such as forklift, elevating platform or bucket to aid in the loading, moving.

PAY RATE: $17.94 - $18.44 P/H

Available SHIFTS:

• Thursday - Sunday from 7:00am to 5:30pm
• Monday - Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Monday - Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm
• Monday - Friday from 11:00pm to 7:30am
