Coordinator of Confirmation Formation - Part-time

Position Summary

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ellicott City, Maryland, a vibrant Catholic parish, is seeking a part-time Coordinator of Confirmation Formation.

Responsibilities

• The youth minister's responsibilities for the Confirmation Formation of 9th graders and other high schoolers would include recruiting, and interacting with youth, parents, and families.
• Organizing and training a team of adults and peers to assist with activities.
• Providing support in planning with team gatherings with prayer, activities, and lessons, and leading a retreat.
• The position requires a commitment of 20-25 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be practicing Catholics, with a desire to live and share their faith
• Bachelor's degree in theology or youth ministry preferred or
• A certificate in a related degree experience, such as education, counseling, or pastoral care.
• Position requires excellent organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate must be self-motivated.

Salary is negotiable, based on experience and education.
