Registered Nurse Endoscopy Full Time Rotate - Full-time / Part-time

The Registered Nurse / RN Endoscopy is responsible to provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse / RN is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care in the Endoscopy Suite. Administers and performs specialized nursing care related to endoscopic procedures. Registered Nurse / RN assists in developing departmental goals in keeping with the hospital’s mission, goals, and objectives. The Registered Nurse / RN utilizes evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse / RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in electronic health record.

Requirements/Qualifications:

(including required licensure/certifications, education and job knowledge / experience)

Education Minimum: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Experience:

One year hospital experience and three years nursing practice in an endoscopy unit.

Certification by the Society of Gastrointestinal Nurses and Associates (CGRN) highly desirable

Required Certification / Licensure / Registration:

Current Florida RN license

American Heart Association BLS/ACLS/PALS
