Summary
The Assistant Nurse Manager plans, organizes and supervises delivery of care/standards of practice in the procedural departments through staff RN's, OR Technicians, Sterile Processing techs and ancillary staff so as to meet the needs of patients and medical staff on a 24-hour basis. The Assistant Nurse Manager assumes overall management responsibilities in the absence of the Director. The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for the general management of patient/customer concerns including resolution and service recovery. Identifies opportunities for improvement in patient satisfaction and participates in all customer service activities. The Assistant Nurse Manager increases communication and awareness across the organization to improve patient satisfaction.
EDUCATION
Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field
EXPERIENCE
Two years experience in health care management and two years experience in clinical related specialty.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.

OR- BLS, PALS

ACU- BLS
-
PACU- BLS, ACLS, PALS
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Managerial experience - able to relate to a large variety of individuals. National certification.
