Job Description:

In this position you will be the Functional Safety Systems Engineer working on the functional safety for steering control columns for semi-trucks with ZF in Lafayette, IN. This role will require some on-site work (ex: you could be on-site for 1 week and then remote for another week). We are seeking an engineer who is passionate about safety!

Day to Day:

• Working on ISO26262 systems and having systems understanding
• Working through donor functions and concepts for the system
• Ability to work and drive a team with concepts and solutions
• Bench and truck testing for the system and functionalities using Rapid Control Prototyping
• Conceptual design of necessary system benches and tests
• Support of FMEA and reliability work
