Provides professional and technical skills and knowledge to ensure safe recovery of patients from anesthesia. Overseen by the Charge Nurse. Reports directly to the Director of Perioperative Services.

Qualifications - External

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in PACU. Knowledge of growth and development over the life span. Knowledge of dysrhythmias and appropriate interventions. Speaks, reads and writes English.

• Minimum of one years� experience in an acute care hospital PACU preferred


• Current CA RN license


• Current American Heart Association ACLS


• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR


• Current American Heart Association PALS

Pay Range: $45.08 - $69.86
