School Remote Speech Language Pathologist Job- California

A great school district located in California is looking to hire a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full time opening for the 2022-2023 school year. The director is ready to review resumes and schedule interviews so apply now for immediate consideration!

Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to implement interventions
• Work remotely for the full school year

Experience:

• Schools experience preferred, but not required
• At least 2 years teletherapy experience preferred, but not required

Education:

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
• California Speech Language Pathology License

Employment:

• Start/End Dates: ASAP – 6/7/2023 (emergency days until 6/14/23 TBD)
• Full Time (35 hours/week)
• Schedule: 8:20 AM – 3:15 PM
• Grade Levels: Pre-School – 4th Grade
• Caseload Size: 40-5-
• Duties: IEP case manager, write an IEP, lead IEP meetings, write IEP goal updates (trimester), meet student minutes on IEP, communicate with staff and families, complete evaluations, see itinerant students, see RTI students, implement and provide support for students with AAC, communicate with outside SLP for specific students, other job responsibilities from the Principal
• Software/Systems Used: eSped and Skyward

• Work Hours:

• 30-37.5 hours per week
• Part time options available as well (10-25 hours)
