About this job

Hatchery Level C Mechanics perform routine preventative maintenance and repair for all hatchery related equipment. Conducts daily review of all equipment to ensure continuous operation at optimum levels. Adequately maintains the overall working condition of all equipment within the hatchery and effectively performs all the duties required by the maintenance supervisor set by the standards at Mountaire. Duties/Activities Required by Job - Perform established PM's on hatchery incubation equipment - Perform established PM's on hatchery processing equipment - Perform established PM's on hatchery ventilation and support equipment - Diagnose and correct equipment failures, ability to troubleshoot and perform tasks with PLC's, basic electrical, pneumatic and basic plumbing. - Assist with capital projects as required Educations/Experience Requirements - High school. Technical training in mechanics, computer skills - 0-3 yrs. mechanical experience or hatchery - Entry level mechanic will be trained in electrical, plumbing and controls Will be able to handle routine mechanical tasks.
