CDL Driver - Class A (Upper-Marlboro, MD) - Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY: The CDL driver will commute to various RoadSafe locations and project sites, drive vehicles, assist team and operations in daily tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Will travel on state and local roadways to RoadSafe locations in various states.
• Must have a valid CDL and a good driving record.
• Will use mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment, vehicle and diesel mechanics.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, sit and bend for long durations.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and perform daily tasks required for the job.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required
• Must have a CDL License
• Must be able to drive, sit, and stand for extended periods of time and in a variety of weather conditions
• Must be able to receive, understand, and communicate specific instructions
• Must be able to successfully pass background check and CDL DOT drug screen
• Must have 2-5 years of CDL driving experience
• HAZMAT certification preferred but not required
• Must be able to read and write in order to complete paperwork, comply with road signs and have knowledge of federal motor carrier safety regulation
• Must be willing to work in a primarily outdoor environment and travel
