Position Title: On-Mountain Restaurant Manager

Business Unit: Food & Beverage

Position Reports to: Food & Beverage Director

Positions Reporting to this Role: FOH Supervisor, Restaurant Staff

Location: Washington

Wage Range: $65-72k / yr. DOE

JOB SUMMARY

As a valued Restaurant Manager at Crystal Mountain, you will motivate, inspire, and mentor staff, delight our guests and commit to providing excellent customer experiences. You will utilize your superior organization and communication skills to quickly address concerns and discover lasting solutions while upholding our high standards for 100 percent guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Assists Director and Assistant Director in creating the budget and upholds the budget
  • Responsible for maintaining par levels and ordering product
  • Coordinates how product gets to venue
  • Responsible for inventory input and calculation of COGs
  • Conduct staff meetings
  • Set schedule for FOH and collaborates with Outlet Chef on BOH schedules
  • Manage and oversee venue operations
  • Help achieve restaurant operational objectives
  • Plan and develop staff incentive programs
  • Assist the Assistant Director in the planning of strategies
  • Respond to customer concerns and questions
  • Control costs and minimize waste while ensuring high quality of preparation
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and secure working environment
  • Help maintain current Mobile Ordering system and training when needed
  • Promote and market the business
  • Help oversee stock levels and order supplies when needed
  • Coordinate communication between from front of the house and back of the house
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings
  • Gather guest & employee feedback and recommend improvements to management
  • Assist in administering training programs
  • Monitor labor and product expenses to remain within budget, meet goals, and successfully advertise and support the CMR brand


KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years' experience in a restaurant lead role in the hospitality industry
  • POS experience required
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Must have Washington MAST Card
  • Must have Washington Food Handler Card


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to ski/ride at an Intermediate level or higher
  • This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation.
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
