Shift: 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of Pediatric Step Down Unit experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Information:

Pediatric mixed patient population step down unit with cardiac support

Preferred experience: PICU/ CVICU/ NICU step down

Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule (days = Sat/Sun, nights = Fri/Sat/Sun)

Holidays required per hospital requirements

Nurses- Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, performing venipuncture

No Block Scheduling.
