Driver

The Catering Delivery Driver must possess a professional demeanor, excellent guest service skills, on the spot problem solving and can effectively communicate and build rapport with our clients.  Your job will primarily consist of delivering catering orders out of multiple Pick Up Stix locations.

This is an on-call position. Deliveries are specifically assigned to a driver with a store assignment and arrival time. Most corporate orders are Monday-Friday between 10:30am-1:30pm. Compensation includes hourly wage, gratuities from every order, and mileage reimbursement for each delivery.  The more you’re available to work, the more money you make, including the opportunity to pick up evening and weekend shifts (optional, not required)!

This is NOT a contract position. You will be employed by Pick Up Stix as a part-time/on-call employee.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Deliver a wide variety of Pick Up Stix catering orders to corporate addresses
• Maintain constant communication with the Corporate Delivery Office
• Follow specified route and time schedule
• Load, unload, and set up the catering order at the designated location
• Collect payments and signatures
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be available to accommodate weekday delivery schedules and ‘on call’ status Monday through Friday from 10:30am-1:00pm. (You will NOT work every day from 10:30am-1:30pm. Orders are assigned based on geographic preferences and business demand.)
• Position requires bending, standing, and walking for the entire shift
• Must have reliable vehicle for making deliveries
• Valid CA driver’s license & proof of current automobile insurance
• Valid documentation of eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, unassisted
• Positive attitude, neat appearance and exceptional customer service skills

21 years of age (minimum)
