Mentor Speaker and Coordinator - Full-time

Express is partnering with a Non-Profit Organization that is seeking a Mentor Speaker. This position will participate in speaking events, and work to continue positive working relationships with schools and organization speaking engagements with various schools. 

 

 Speaker/Coordinator Responsibilities: 

• Promote the mission, vision and core values of the company. 
• Present the companies presentation at schools, churches, and other venues as needed.
• Collaborate with Executive Director to enhance, adapt and improve the presentation. 
• Attend on-going training concerning relationships/SRA, adolescent psychology, and communicating to youth training.  
• Build relationships with teachers, youth and other members that the speaker works with. 

Office Responsibilities: 

• Attend staff meetings as needed. 
• Collect data from student surveys 
• Attend events sponsored by the organization 

 

Qualifications: 

• BA in Social Science, background in Public Speaking 
• Understands teen culture and target audience 
• Comfortable explaining peer pressure, healthy vs unhealthy relationships, etc 

Hours/Pay: 

• $18-$19/hour based on experience 
• Evaluation to hire opportunity 
• PTO accrual, 12 Holidays off/year when hired on 
• Monday - Friday / 8:00A-5:00P
