This position will perform engineering tasks within the product and/or manufacturing engineering groups as assigned by engineering personnel. An intern is defined as a student working to gain engineering experience while school in not in session such as summer break. A Coop is defined as a student working to gain engineering experience instead of taking classes.

1. Perform engineering related tasks as assigned by engineering personnel.

2. Evaluate products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

3. Design products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

4. Improve products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

5. Cost reduce products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

6. Validate products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

7. Create/update engineering drawings.

8. Model with 3D CAD products, tooling, machines and/or processes.

9. Perform engineering change orders (ECOs).

10. Prototype products, tooling, machines and/or processes.

11. Prepare reports.

12. Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.

Qualifications
Required: Enrolled in college to become a degreed engineer and one semester of classes completed.

Preferred: Enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program with two semesters of classes completed.
