This Director Infection Prevention will join an experienced executive team and help oversee all aspects of infection control at this busy, facility. This Director will be responsible for overseeing all Managers, Supervisors, and other Infection Control staff. Responsibilities include overseeing policy development and implementation regarding control and prevention of infection, collecting and monitoring date to observe infections within the hospital/ effectiveness of current policies, holding meetings with executive leadership/staff regarding current date/new policies/procedures, assisting in all survey readiness, trending, tracking and monitoring parameters and making necessary operational changes as needed. 

Requirements:

• Active NYS RN license
• Master's degree in a related field
• CIC certification
• 3+ years of Infection Control leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting
