Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n\n

• Responsible for safely operating and maintaining asphalt plant and construction equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
• Responsible for operating track excavators, back hoes, dozers, loaders, rollers, forklifts, and other pieces of equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
• Perform other routine duties as directed by Foreman.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
• Responsible for preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced as needed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
• Monitor production levels and adjust production as needed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
• Troubleshoot, problem solve, and successfully discuss production problems with co-workers and supervisors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

  • Strong attention to detail.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • Must have the initiative, ability, and willingness to perform and assist with other responsibilities for job completion as requested.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • Must be willing to work day or night shift, including weekends.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • Must be willing to travel.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • Must be capable of operating the assigned machine and any other related equipment in a safe manner.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • Must be able to do a competent inspection of the equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
