Description:Our North Region Facilities Team has an opportunity for a Facility Project & Operations Manager. In this role, you will have responsibility for various leases in the Washington Metro Area (WMA). • Provide leadership and operational oversight for all infrastructure and maintenance for our Herndon VA site.
• Act as the liaison between LMC and property owners assuring that both the property owner and LMC is compliant to the lease agreement.
• Provide leadership for the workspace management oversight for five lease facilities within the WMA to ensure workspace planning supports business requirements. • Oversee services contract management for service agreements and non-labor cost management within department.
• Perform to budget plan, support Facility Operations, and Services strategic goals, meet certification and compliance training objectives, acquire necessary staffing, ensure development of employee technical training requirements, and sponsor and ensure implementation of LM21 process improvements and Risk Mitigation practices.
• Ensure department compliance to all contractual and regulatory obligations and corporate ethics policy and support internal audit inquiries.
Basic Qualifications:
• Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive
management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows products including: Power Point, Excel, and Microsoft Word
• Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting
• Experienced with and demonstrated ability to follow established standards, policy and procedures, including safety, risk planning, and security
• Ability to respond to emergencies 24/7

• Leadership experience
• Experience managing service contracts
• Previous experience using LM Buildings

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
