Tool Room Associate

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Order and maintain tooling spare parts inventory
• Set up and maintain a tool work order system
• Set up and schedule tooling PM’s
• Track shot counts on cores and die components using the auto crib system
• Schedule die preps
• Oversee last piece reviews
• Organize and maintain die cylinders
• Order shot tips
• Establish shot count system to track tip life and work to reduce usage
• Establish and maintain spare core inventory

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• 3-7 years experience
• Knowledge of fitting and assembling dies
• Ability to read blueprints
• Familiar with injection molding
• Excellent communication skills-verbal and written
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft software: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
• Ability to relate and communicate well with people
• Operate effectively in stressful situations
• Ability to multi-task
• Able to operate a fork lift

You should be proficient in:

• Manual Machining Skills
• Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills
