Delray Medical Center is seeking a Charge Nurse for a level 1 trauma center to join our team.

Up to 20k sign-on bonus for qualified candidates & up to 8k in travel relocation reimbursement.

Short Description for Internal Candidates

Delray Medical Center is seeking a Charge Nurse for a level 1 trauma center to join our team. The ANM will.

• Hold shift accountability to provide direct care to the patients.

• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of other staff.

Summary

The Assistant Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities in specialty areas for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. Will only see 2% of Oncology patients on this unit, and 98% of surgical Inpatient Patients.

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida


• American Heart Association BLS Certification


• ACLS (AHA) and EKG Certified

• Ensure compliance with policies.


• Maintain safe, high-quality, cost-effective patient care.


• Supervise


• Will have a patient load of at least 8 patients.


• May take patient assignments whenever business or operational needs dictates.

Education:

Required: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure
Preferred: BSN

Experience:

*Minimum Three years as a staff nurse

*Previous charge nurse experience preferred.

Certifications

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida


• American Heart Association BLS Certification


• ACLS (AHA) and EKG Certified

Other Qualifications

Basic Computer Skills

Preferred: Cerner Experience
