About this job

Summary

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.

Education

Required: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
Preferred: BSN

Experience

Required: Prior clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.

Certifications

Required:



  • Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.

  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS, Basic EKG, critical care course and/or emergency care course that includes critical care didactic as part of course.

Other Qualifications

  • TNCC within one year

  • PALS

  • ENPC within one year

  • CCRN preferred
