Louisville Tile of Chattanooga is seeking a Branch Manager. This position is responsible for building relationships within the Branch and marketplace that differentiate Louisville Tile by providing a world class and innovative solution-oriented customer experience. This position acquires and exhibits a deep technical knowledge coupled with the highest integrity to create value for our team members and customers within a model that provides profitability for the company. The Branch Manager is responsible for Sales, Warehouse, Customer Service and Profitability. The Branch Manager is responsible to hit target metrics in activity, production, product diversification and penetration, customer service, warehouse and inventory management metrics and overall bottom-line profit of the branch. Product knowledge and ability to understand and manage budgets and financial reporting along with a concrete understanding of budgets and branch KPI's is critical. This is a full-time Monday - Friday position.

Requirements:

Branch Manager Educational or Technical Requirements

  • College education and previous management experience preferred
  • Basic Financial Accounting
  • Managerial Experience
  • Retail Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Two years of financial responsibility

Branch Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Ability to manage different teams to a common goal of superior performance by balancing the individual, team, and organizational priorities to create performance and measurable results and success. Position will be responsible for crafting and hold accountable to an annual strategic plan with specific quantitative and qualitative goals. Plan will incorporate all areas of responsibility.
  • Project management: Ability to manage projects to milestones and deadlines, hold individuals accountable for results, and execute with prioritization.
  • Customer Relations/Service: Provide the support and leadership to establish a local platform and service capability that communicates with prospects and customers to inform them of the critical information needed. Utilization of the company CRM and processes to facilitate this process will be critical as will the proper utilization of the central corporate customer support team.
  • Knowledge: Be the branch leader in product, sales, and operational (including inventory management) knowledge to act as the key resource to provide support and mentoring to respective staff. LT will provide regular training to further your knowledge and skill sets required to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position. You will be expected to supplement this with self-education on leadership, technical skills, finance, and any other aspects of the position that enables you to perform in a superior manner and advance our mutual goals and objectives including knowledge transfer to your branch team.
  • Financial Oversight and Reporting: Manage the financial performance of the branch including the P&L, accounts receivable, budgets, inventory, sample costs, balance sheet and revenues to drive branch to appropriate profitability and metrics.
  • Sales Team Support: Work closely with the branch sales team with operational support, job issue resolution, and sales activities. Coordinate with Senior sales management to fulfill and achieve objectives and goals.
  • Commercial Quoting: Responsible for commercial quoting and is an inside contact for the large commercial contractors, residential contractors, dealers, and designers
  • Systems and ERP: Know and be proficient with the corporate operating software system.
