Caring Places Management is actively recruiting an empathetic, qualified individual to join our Assisted Living & Memory Care community, Beehive/Hawthorne House, as a Nurse. As part of our team, you work with seniors requiring assistance and their families to determine their individual needs and requirements. Why work for Caring Places Management? Responsibilities:

  • Nurse Delegation including:
  • Initial nurse delegate core training with manual and exam
  • Individual staff training, monitoring, and paperwork per WAC 246-840 and WAC 388-78A
  • Coordinate and provide nursing care and services including:
  • Infection control
  • Resident health assessment
  • Resident health monitoring
  • Communication with physicians and healthcare POA
  • Arranging resident physician appointments
  • Assisting in oversight of other health care providers
  • Investigation of injuries involving residents or staff
  • Assisting with physician prescribed treatments/medications
  • Tracking and filling of medication orders
  • Insuring medications/treatments are properly administered
  • Assessing and responding to skin problems
  • Other nursing tasks
  • Resident nursing assessments, service planning and coordination (including new move-ins and returning residents)
  • Develop and maintain fully compliant resident records
  • Develop resident service agreements using PC database
  • Update service agreements as required
  • Arrange and participate in care conferences
  • Document resident progress
  • Document physician prescribed treatments/medications
  • Participate and direct quality assurance investigations
  • Maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Development and oversight of facility nursing systems
  • Prepare and participate in in-service presentations and staff meetings
  • Communicate with state and assist in surveys and investigations
  • Help foster a positive team attitude in the community
  • AND anything that helps staff coordinate consistent, quality care and service in the facility. Other items as requested by Administrator and/or anything else that is needed to keep the facility operating smoothly.
Requirements:

Qualifications and Job Skills:

  • Degree in Nursing and a current state license as a Registered Nurse
  • Complete understanding of state and federal regulations
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds, up to 30 times per shift
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
  • Commitment to the safe practices, infection control, residents' rights
  • Strong communication skills and congenial personality

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • Weekends
  • Day Shift
  • Wage is DOE & Certifications
  • MUST be willing to work in Assisted Living & Memory Care
