Better Living Cabinet Design Center is looking to grow our team in Berkmar Drive showroom in Charlottesville, VA. This role requires creating and maintaining relationships, design development, project management, and communication and coordination with customers and team members. This is a unique position that allows a person with design, sales, and mechanical abilities to see their projects through from concept to completion with unlimited income once established!

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Understanding of residential construction
  • Self starter with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • MUST HAVE Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to represent self and company in a professional, knowledgeable manner
  • Proven ability to take initiative, ownership and be accountable
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Experience with 2020 design or similar design program (helpful but not required)
  • Proficient in using Outlook

Responsibilities

  • This role requires creating and maintaining relationships, design development, project management, constant communication and coordination with team members
  • Educating clients on various product offerings and services
  • Estimating material and labor costs to determine the most appropriate course of action for a project
  • Developing plans and pricing proposals based on individual client needs
  • Performing site visits
  • Guiding client from the initial consultation phase through finalizing and signing a contract in a timely manner
  • Accurately ordering materials and checking order acknowledgments
  • Communicating with client and various internal departments through the lifecycle of the project Benefits
