Software Developer - Full-time / Part-time

Paymerang is a fast-growing, evolving FinTech startup. We are a leader in finance automation, and we take manual accounts payable processes and streamline and automate them on behalf of businesses. We are constantly creating, innovating, and looking for ways to create the perfect payment for our clients. As a Software Developer, you will be part of a cloud-native engineering team creating new external customer-facing and internal user features. Our current technical development stack is ReactJS (Remix), TypeScript, GraphQL (Hasura), Tailwind CSS, Lambdas, some .NET, and other AWS Cloud services. You should feel comfortable working and learning in a collaborative environment with these technologies and desire to learn new future technologies. The characteristics we are looking for are: * You are passionate about software engineering and technology in general and want to understand how things work. * You could build a simple web application given requirements and senior engineers and mentors to help you along the way. * With senior engineers' help, you can take complex technical topics and distill them into simple terms so that other team members can understand and learn from you. * You take pride in the code you write, ensuring it is clean and maintainable. * You can help more junior engineers with code reviews and help them understand the importance of clean maintainable code * You take ownership and accountability for the code you write. * You feel comfortable identifying potential issues, finding solutions, proposing them, and following through on their implementation. * You can explain technical matters to non-technical individuals. * You have a great can-do attitude, are a team player, and would enjoy working in a "start-up" environment. * You understand security implications as they apply to software engineering.
