Job Summary Within a patient centered culture, promotes and restores patients# health by completing the nursing process and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. The RN shall accept accountability, use independent nursing judgment for care provided by self and by licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel to whom care is delegated to achieve quality patient care outcomes. Provides physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families. Follows standards of care set by the WV State Board of Nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations. Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Experience Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with physicians, and instruct patients and their families. Certifications/Licensures Must possess licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in WV. Must possess BLS certification within probationary period.#################### Physical Requirements Heavy Work Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.####################
