Driving School Instructor - Full-time / Part-time

• $1000 sign on bonus for licensed instructors 

• $20 per hour for a Licensed Instructor

• Unlicensed New Instructors start at $18 per hour then get $20 per hour when they become licensed (which can take up to 60 days)

AAA Driving School instructors teach critically important lessons that last a lifetime. If you want to make a difference in our communities by educating teens to be safe drivers, then we encourage you to apply.

This is not a 9-5 office position. If you like working outdoors and have a desire to make a difference in traffic safety in Southern California by shaping the habits and skills of new drivers, then we would like to hear from you.

You will schedule driving appointments and conduct learning activities including teen driver lessons and adult skills audits for older drivers. You will also be responsible for maintaining all records required by the state of California.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Candidates must be able to accommodate the availability of our students, which means working full time 5 days a week, working weekday schedules starting as late as 12 pm during the school year, and teaching on at least one weekend day per week.

• Selected candidate must have an excellent driving record and must take and pass a physical exam for licensing by the state as well as a background check and drug test.
