About this job
We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist/Accountant for a direct hire opportunity for our client located in Orange County.
This position will be working 100% onsite.
Pay up to $100,000 per year, plus benefits
- Will be responsible for processing the bi-weekly payroll for 400-500 EE
- Responsible for new hires, garnishments, terminations and manual checks
- Review hours and ensure accuracy before processing the hours
- Process multi-state tax reporting
- Record all payroll, 401K, benefits and expenses
- Audit and maintain employee records
- Maintain knowledge and compliance with all state, federal and local wage and hour laws
- Will process invoices for payments
- Reconciliation of bank statements
- Assist with month-end close process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service minded skill-set
