Paint Specialist- Panhandle Lumber & Supply - Full-time / Part-time

What Does a Paint Specialist Do? * Provide outstanding customer service. * Support the paint sales efforts by, servicing contractor and retail customers. * Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining paint needs and presenting appropriate products and services * Ensuring that sales transactions are completed accurately, maintaining precise work order files and formulas, pulling appropriate products from the sales floor, and tinting and mixing them to customer specifications * Stock shelves and set up displays, clean store equipment and load/unload delivery trucks * Wait on contractors and on retail customers * assist customers with paint identification and matching the correct paint to the customer's home. * He/she assist customers in selecting the appropriate type of paint, such as latex or oil-based, and color tones. * He/she sell and apply various types of paints such as primers, sealers, and stains. * Inform customers about current sales or promotions. * He/she must also perform additional duties as may be assigned. Requirements * What Does It Take to Be a Paint Specialist? * High school diploma or equivalent * Computer proficiency * Previous building supply knowledge. (Preferred). * Ability to work as a team and help motivate others * Must be able to walk throughout yards, and offices. * Results-oriented with ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation's Best's values. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible. * Strong interpersonal skills with willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills. * Ability to lift up to 25-50lbs consistently and bend, twist, squat and reach throughout work shift.
