Purchasing - Buyer; Long-Term Contract (Perm); Verona - Full-time

We are hiring a Buyer for a world-class client in the Verona, VA area. This is for a contracted term of approximately 6 - 12 months. Potentially longer term.

Summary: Purchasing and distributing materials, equipment and supplies in accordance with company guidelines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Ensures that company standard procedures are followed in connection with purchases of material and services.

Analyzes market conditions and trends; explores sources of supply; processes requests for all products and commodities.

Prepares and issues purchase orders and requisitions.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree; three to five years of applicable experience.

Critical:

-Strong Buying experience

-History of Significant Vendor interactions

-Ideally have worked in a manufacturing setting
