A hospital in North Carolina is actively seeking a Senior Nursing Manager Women and Children Services to join their team. 

The Senior Nurse Manager Labor Delivery will work for a 150+ bed community hospital located in eastern North Carolina. This highly accredited acute care hospital is known for their state-of-the-art technology, fast-paced emergency department, rehabilitation programs, and women’s services team. 

The Senior Nurse Manager Women and Children Services will report to the Chief Nursing Officer, and be responsible for the Labor Delivery, Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery and NICU department, with over 125 FTES. Responsibilities of the  Senior Nurse Manager Women and Children Services department include overseeing department budgets, developing short and long term strategic growth plans, implementing quality performance improvement initiatives, updating policy procedures, preparing all accreditation and survey material, assisting with creating educational programming opportunities, cross collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and most importantly--supporting and acting as the resource for the Women, Children and Infant Service Line team. 

The Senior Nurse Manager Women and Children Services must have previous leadership experience along with a clinical background working in a Labor Delivery or  Mother Baby unit. The Senior Nurse Manager Women and Children Services must also hold their active RN license.
