A reputable community-based hospital located in the south western region of Virginia is currently searching for multiple Operating Room RN's to join their advanced healthcare team.

The Operating Room RN will be joining a well-known hospital that is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. This healthcare system offers a full range of acute care services such as same day surgeries, 24-hour Emergency Care, Radiology, Women’s Center, Extended Care, Critical Care, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Oncology, Laboratory, Rehabilitation, and Pastoral services.
Under the direction of the Nurse Director and Nurse Managers, the Operating Room RN will provide patient-centered care to the designated patient population. The Operating Room RN will work in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of experienced physicians, clinical educators, case workers, technicians, and other nursing staff. Working directly with the surgeon and first assist, the Operating Room RN will perform scrub and circulating duties within the operating room, will assist the patient during pre-operative stages, and help triage patients to post-operative care areas.
Requirements Include:
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
- Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia, compact state, or ability to attain
- CNOR certification preferred
