Evening Shift Clinical Laboratory Technologist

An established critical access hospital located in mid-state New York is currently searching for an experienced Evening Shift Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join their award-winning healthcare system.

This 25-bed critical access hospital is known as a regional provider of acute inpatient and emergency care, short-term inpatient rehabilitation, and other diagnostic and therapeutic services. The Evening Shift Clinical Laboratory Technologist will join a laboratory and pathology service line that is fully accredited by the New York State Department of Health Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Unit as well as the Joint Commission. This service line provides a variety of services including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, histology, phlebotomy, and much more. The laboratory department is proud to perform nearly 1.5 million laboratory tests each year, utilizing the most advanced technologies.

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist will perform laboratory and blood bank procedures, examinations, quality control, equipment collaboration, and regulatory documentation. Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related biological science is required. Valid license by NYSED as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist is required.
