As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Medical ICU, you will have the opportunity to increase your skills as an integral part of a specialized team. Community Regional Medical Center is the largest of our three main hospitals and the flagship hospital of the Central Valley with over 685 beds on one campus. Our academic-affiliated, Level 1 Trauma Center is located on a 58-acre campus in downtown Fresno. It features one of the largest and busiest emergency departments in California, as well as a comprehensive burn center. We serve 2.5 million people within 9 counties, averaging a daily census of 641 patients.

Responsibilities: You will be joining an amazing ICU nursing team that is always ready to take care of any patient. In our 24 bed ICU, you will be working closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care to complex patients with a multitude of diagnoses including sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, ARDS, heart failure, MI, cardiac abnormalities, and stroke.
You should have the desire to be a patient and family advocate, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have the desire to work closely with other disciplines. Qualifications: Education
• Graduate of approved nursing program required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience
• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required
Licenses and Certifications
• RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
