Bartender/Server Positions - Full-time / Part-time

On Deck Bar and Grill located inside The Club at Henderson Beach Resort is looking for full-time or part-time Bartenders/Servers to work our poolside bar.  Higher than normal Bartender/Server pay: $12-$14 per hour Plus Tips, Depends on Experience. Responsibilities Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients and having them removed Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimum Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and around the pool satisfied at all times Greet and serve guest promptly Take orders and serve food and beverages to guest Answer questions about menu items Accurately take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff Facilitate filling drink orders with the bar Gracefully suggest/upsell additional menu items, such as desserts and drinks Offer special assistance to patrons with specific needs Memorize the menu for on-demand recitation and questions about ingredients Operate the drink fountain Use the POS system to accurately calculate the patron's bill Sidework, such as help set up umbrellas, hand out towels, clean up pool area before leaving, and set up /clean up bar area before leaving Closeout all checks at the end of every shift Requirements Must be knowledgeable on mixing drinks High school diploma or GED preferred Basic math skills Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Familiarity with restaurant POS software a plus Ability to thrive in an active, noisy, and demanding environment Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills required recblid zj4hqnfx9a6dbwiyjmhbmuz3yw2ws8
