In this position you would be responsible for directing the sales activities of the dealership and managing the sales team. You would report directly to the General Manager.

Essential Duties

  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all sales associate
  • Directs sales staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs
  • Establishes annual and monthly objectives for unit sales and gross sales for team with General Sales Manager/General Manager
  • Monitors sales associates productivity and performance
  • Understand and be knowledgeable of new- and used-vehicle inventory management, including inventory turns, allocations, and dealer trades
  • Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs
  • Displays, merchandises and promotes new- and used-vehicles
  • Serves as liaison between sales department and other departments
  • Be knowledgeable of expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
  • Maintains a professional appearance
  • Attends managers meetings as requested
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Minimum of 3+ years of dealership Desking and Finance Experience, required
  • Working knowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds DMS (Preferred but not necessary)
  • Must have a current State Sales License
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be eligible for coverage under shop insurance policy (Not an excluded driver)
  • Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary)
