About this job

*Must have at least 2 years of Faculties maintenance experience and at least 4 years of experience in a Faculties Maintenance Technician role in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution facility environment*

*Shift: Monday - Friday*

*7 AM - 3:30 PM*.

Job Responsibilities

Leads the complex maintenance tasks, equipment trial runs, investigative tests, repairs and overhauls

Performs complex maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc

Completes documents of all inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures

Leads the resolution of complex equipment/system failures & faults and interfaces with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution

Performs assessment of complex product/equipment performance based on field support data and recommends modifications or improvements

May participate in the negotiation and administration of service contracts

Performs complex and technically demanding work within technical area of expertise

Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is more difficult and complex

Provide electromechanical corrective repairs and preventative maintenance

Technicians shall have the following minimum qualifications and responsibilities:

Maintain troubleshoot all facility equipment.

Replace light fixtures and light bulbs as needed.,.

Operate high voltage equipment such as buffers, automatic scrubbers and high-pressure washers.

Adjust or replace faulty parts (e.g., switches, sockets) of electrical and electronic systems.

Dust and wash walls, room partitions, and fixtures that can be reach without the use of ladders.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment following all OSHA standards as well as facility health and safety standards.

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as emergency lighting, air handling units, fan coils, and chillers.

Identify plumbing, electrical, environmental, or safety hazards associate with solar thermal installations.

Monitor daily for proper HVAC and production line manufacturing equipment operation.

Provide preventive maintenance on machinery inside, outside the facility as well as keeping the grounds safe and up to OSHA standards

You should be proficient in:

  • Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans
  • Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment
  • Machine Safety Inspections
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
