Material Handler

Summary of Job Duties:

To support the production floor to prevent downtime for waiting on parts such as raw materials or finished goods to be taken from or delivered to the cell. Also delivering proper dunnage to the cell.

Duties: 

∙Moving dunnage containers to and from work cells

∙Dump scrap hoppers

∙Move raw material to work cell

∙Move finished goods to the proper location

∙Keeping warehouse neat and orderly

∙Maximize loads and minimize wasteful movements of material

∙Reform additional duties as assigned

∙Comply with all safety procedures

∙Fill out fork truck check sheets daily

∙Need to be organized and neat

∙Able to follow all Safety and Quality policies and procedures

∙Must be able to safely operate equipment in a manufacturing environment

Skills/Qualifications: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Education Requirements: 

High School Diploma or GED required

Able to use basic mathematical and writing skills

Able to obtain certification for Forklift Driving
