Our Behavior Technicians work as valued members of our therapy teams to provide individualized services to children with autism in a clinic-based setting, working under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Experience working as a behavior technician/RBT is preferred, but not required. Job Responsibilities:
Implement client goals created by a BCBA in each child's individualized treatment plan to focus on social skills, living skills, and academic skills, using a 1:1 teaching format
Complete data collection and session notes daily to track and show client progress
Communicate professionally with client families to provide updates regarding progress
Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws and regulations
Assist with creation of therapy materials
Attend team meetings and on-going trainings, as necessary
Other related duties as assigned or requested
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Registered Behavior Technician Certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, or the ability to acquire certification within 45 days of hire date
Prior experience working with children with disabilities is preferred, but not required
Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA practices and adherence to the policies
Must have the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable spending time on your feet
Strong written and oral communication along with strong interpersonal skills
