Description

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the direct supervision of the daily activities outside of the Vertique Semi-Automated Machine. The Warehouse Supervisor is also a mentor and coach, responsible for training and development activities with their direct reports including but not limited Forklift Drivers of Inbound, Outbound, Tygard, dock coordinator and Yard Jockey. The Warehouse Supervisor must adhere to all established Atlantic Bottling safety procedures and policies, while multi-tasking and making sound proactive decisions in a noisy and time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, Teach and Coach all direct reports working outside the Vertique System.
  • Report to the Warehouse Manager successes, issues and challenges.
  • Work cohesively with the Automation Supervisor to ensure the efficient functionality of the Vertique Machine.
  • Monitor the Inbound team to ensure all loads scheduled for the day are unloaded and put away properly utilizing the WMS.
  • Monitor the outbound forklift team to ensure proper loading of assigned trailers and the coordination of efficient staging.
  • Communicate any forklift or pallet jack issues to the Fleet Manager to ensure proper maintenance.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting 30-75 lbs.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes.
  • Easily transition between different work areas as needed throughout the workday, meeting minimum expectations within those areas.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions from the computer screen.
  • Attention to detail and ability to differentiate our packages.
  • Ability to work in a noisy and non-climate controlled including high and low-temperature environment.
  • Intentional self-starter takes initiative and proactively seeks out value-add opportunities.
  • Typical hours are Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00p. However, flexibility in scheduling is required as work hours are subject to change based on business demands.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge acquired through 1 - 3 years of work experience.
