Program Security Officer

Key Role:

Perform a wide range of functions to ensure the protection of government-sensitive and classified information. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Ensure the organization is compliant with DoD security requirements. Manage administrative activities related to security clearances for the organization's employees, ensure the security of restricted access facilities and sensitive records, and advise management on pertinent issues. Analyze the development and implementation of key programs or processes for the organization. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members, if needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in the DoD or intelligence community (IC)

  • 2+ years of experience with Security Management Systems and CAC

  • Experience directing the activities of security specialists as necessary on activities connected to the specified field or discipline

  • Experience working in a fast-paced team environment

  • Experience working with Special Access Program information

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in distinct functional or cross-functional security areas, including personnel, physical, industrial security, computer investigations, classification management, operational security, or security education, or 15+ years of experience in distinct functional or cross-functional security areas, including personnel, physical, industrial security, computer investigations, classification management, operational security, or security education, in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • DoD Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) IAW DoD Manual # 3305.13M Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
