Connecticut School Based Speech Language Pathologist - Full-time / Part-time

Location: Connecticut State, United States Vocovision is seeking a full-time School Speech Language Pathologist to work remotely for a school district in Connecticut. The School Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in K-8 students. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in speech-language pathology and experience working with in a school-based setting. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Connecticut State Speech-Language Pathology license. ASHA CCC's Experience working in a school setting preferred but not required. Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals. Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in K-8 students. Develop and implement treatment plans to address speech and language disorders. Work collaboratively with other professionals, including teachers, counselors, and administrators, to develop effective treatment plans for students. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with speech and language disorders. Monitor and track progress of students receiving speech and language services. Provide training and support to teachers and other school staff on strategies for supporting students with speech and language disorders. Complete necessary documentation and maintain accurate records of student progress. Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other meetings as necessary.
