Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Special Education Teachers to join our team in New Bedford, MA. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing quality instruction and support to students in K-8 with disabilities. There are also 2 special education team chair positions available. All positions are full-time through June 15th or until the end of the school year (if we have any snow days). Responsibilities: Plan and deliver individualized instruction to students with disabilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other team members Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed Collaborate with general education teachers to provide accommodations and modifications as necessary Provide support to students in a variety of settings, including inclusion classrooms, resource rooms, and pull-out groups Attend IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development opportunities as required For team chair positions: lead IEP meetings, supervise special education staff, monitor compliance with regulations, and manage caseloads Requirements: Possession of valid teaching certification in special education in Massachusetts Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Special Education Teacher Knowledge of special education laws and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team If this opportunity interests you, send me anupdated resume atmatthew.marlow@procaretherapy.com.You can also call or text me with any questions at470-286-1084.
