LEAD SALES ASSOCIATE

This position is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and courteous service to all guests of The Shops at The Hotel Hershey.

This is a part-time year round position. The schedule for this position is based on operational needs and may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job Functions:

• Conduct business with guests with a smile, enthusiasm and professionalism
• Enter sales into POS system
• Handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions
• Assist the Manager and Supervisors with store opening and closing procedures
• Exhibiting thorough product knowledge and upselling techniques to guests
• Answer guest inquiries, both in person and over the phone, in a professional and timely manner
• Inspecting merchandise to insure quality prior to sale
• Assisting in inventory counts and shrink prevention
• Following safety and cleanliness standards
• Communicating special requests to the Manager
• Perform other duties as assigned
