**Responsibilities: **
Implement food safety regulatory changes
Maintain Gluten Free, Organic, Non-GMO programs
Primary SQF, Gluten Free, Organic, Non-GMO, Auditor Contact
Record and maintain audit documents
Report to the Production Manager any out of specification verification checks.
Maintain CCP documents
Assist in resolution of Customer Complaints
Assumes SQF practitioner responsibilities as described in the SQF code
Maintain HACCP program
Monitor Sanitation and Environment
Ensure employee training is complete
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in food safety and food safety/quality test methods
Certifications: SQF Practitioner, HAACP, FSPCA
Participate in gluten proficiency testing
Develop GMP’s and Food safety requirements
Ability to follow written regulations and customer specifications
Remain abreast of regulatory changes
Ability to accurately fill out required paperwork
Ability to move and lift objects up to 50 lbs
Able to wear required Uniforms & PPE
Able to climb, bend reach and perform repetitive motions
Able to work in temperature extremes
Maintain a steady work pace

Maintain good relationships with stakeholders

Maintain safe equipment
Observe facility policies and procedures
Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality
Accurate completion of daily and intermittent paperwork
Authority: To stop a process for personal or food safety and or quality reasons.
Enforce all company policies & procedures. Report any food safety or quality issue to the General Manager.
The QA Manager will be backed up by the Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance Coordinator.
You should be proficient in:
- Quality Inspection Experience
- Quality Control Data Analysis
- Analysis Programs
- Basic Computer Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- High-level Operations Analysis
