We are searching for a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. Job Details: Pay Range: $35-$47+/hr * Onsite nearLansing, IL * Full 2023-2024 school year * Full time * 4th-8th grade caseload * Mild/Moderate disabilities * 40-50 students total * General SLP duties (assessments, IEPs, attending meetings, etc.) * More caseload/position detailsto be provided duringinterview process * ASAP Interview Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine eligibility for special education services and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. * Provide individual and group therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, targeting goals outlined in their IEPs. * Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies to support communication skills in the classroom and school community. * Participate in district-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate, cultural responsiveness, and social justice. * Provide training and support to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to support students with speech and language disorders. Requirements: * Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. * Valid Illinois state licensure as an SLP and certification of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). * IL PEL Certification * Strong knowledge of current theories, research, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology. * Experience working with diverse student populations and demonstrated cultural competence. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
