Architecture Lead

The Challenge:

As a leader in systems engineering, you have the chance to work with the government and lead a team to research and develop architecture-related documentation including Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) products, interoperability certification, information technology standards, and engineering information management documents. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you'll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working DoDAF Architectures

  • 4+ years of experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools

  • Knowledge of DoD Architecture standards and framework in MagicDraw, Cameo, or SysML

  • Ability to provide the systems engineering team direction, coordination, and guidance

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with modeling tools, including Cameo Enterprise Architect, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or IBM Rhapsody

  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, including DoDAF 2.0, and UAF with related network C2 capability requirements

  • Knowledge of Aerospace and Defense industry with systems engineering for C2 systems

  • Knowledge of capability requirements generation at the service level

  • Ability to plan and deliver capability demonstrations in an agile cadence

  • Ability to produce solutions independently or with a team

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Computer Engineering

  • Object Management Group(OMG) Certification,Certified System Modeling Language Professional(OCSMP), orModel User and Builder Certification

  • Certified Enterprise Architect Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
